We are located at Plot No. 244 in the South Kalamassery Industrial Development Plot area. It’s a typical industrial zone where there is always the sound of machines or trucks moving around in the background. Our building is a plain structure that’s built for work rather than looking good. Inside, we have our equipment set up and we spend the shift handling whatever production tasks are on the list for the day. It can get pretty hot inside during the afternoons, especially when the machines have been running for a few hours. We usually have the big shutter doors open to let some air in. There is a small office area tucked in the corner with a desk and some filing cabinets, but most of the action happens on the main floor. We deal with various materials and parts, and there’s often a bit of grease or metal shavings that need to be cleaned up. It’s a lot of manual labor and keeping an eye on the gauges. We have a small crew and we all know our roles, so we just get on with it without much fuss. Sometimes we have to wait for a delivery of raw materials before we can start a new batch of work. The industrial estate has its own rhythm, and we’ve been part of it here in Kalamassery for some time now.
