Nikasu Group

Working inside the Cochin Special Economic Zone can be a bit different because of all the security at the main gates. Nikasu Group is located at Plot No. 23 which is quite close to the Collector Office. It’s a big area and there are always people moving around. The weather in Cochin is usually humid so the air conditioning in the office is something we are all thankful for. We have a mix of office staff and floor workers who have been with us for years. It’s a bit of a walk from the parking area to our building but it’s a nice enough routine. Inside, the atmosphere is pretty focused. We deal with a lot of paperwork because of the SEZ rules, so there is always someone sorting through forms or talking on the phone with customs people. Our space is divided into a production area and a small admin section. We try to keep things tidy but with so much material coming in, it gets a little cluttered by the end of the week. Saturday is usually our day for organizing everything for the next Monday. We don’t really do big advertising or anything like that. Most people find us because we’ve been in this spot for a long time. The view from the back window shows some trees and the busy road further out. It’s a decent place to spend the workday.
