Interventional Radiologist Pvs Memorial Hospital

Our department is tucked away inside PVS Memorial Hospital, right near the Kaloor Bus Stand. If you know the Kaloor area, you know how crowded it gets with all the buses and people rushing around. Being so close to the stand makes it easy for patients coming from outside the city to find us. We handle the interventional radiology side of things here. It is a lot of machines and screens, to be honest. Most days are spent in darkened rooms looking at images or doing small procedures that don't need big surgery. It is quiet in our section compared to the main lobby. We have a small waiting area where families sit while we work. The staff here mostly stays focused on the monitors. Sometimes the equipment needs a bit of a kick to start, or we have to wait for a technician to show up. It isn't a glamorous job, but it is necessary. We see people who are worried about their scans, and we just try to get the results done so they can go to the next step. The hospital itself has been around for a long time, so the walls have seen a lot. We drink a lot of coffee from the canteen downstairs to stay awake during long shifts. It’s just a busy medical office trying to keep up with the schedule and help whoever walks through the door near the bus stand. We don't have fancy brochures or a PR team. It's just us and the machines.
