Free 2B Inc is tucked away in Lakshmi Apt at C 12. Mattancherry gets quite busy during the day. We are right on Gujarati Road. The stairs here can be a bit steep when you are carrying boxes up. Some days the humidity is thick, especially near the post office area. People walk past the apartment block all morning. It’s an old building, but it does the job for us. We spend most of our time inside these walls. Sometimes you can hear the traffic outside or someone shouting for a rickshaw. We’ve been here for a while now. The mail usually arrives late in the afternoon at the Mattancherry Post. It’s just how things go around here. You get used to the noise of the street. It’s not a fancy office, just some rooms where we keep everything running. My desk sits near the window. I can see the neighbors across the way hanging laundry. Free 2B Inc isn’t a huge operation. We mostly stick to ourselves and get through the daily tasks. Gujarati Road has its own rhythm. Usually, it’s quiet early on, then picks up by ten. We keep the fans going all day. There is a specific smell of salt and spice in the air from the nearby markets. It’s a decent spot for us to work. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the address. C 12 is where you will find us if you’re looking. It is what it is.
