You can find us at Jos Electricals Agencies on P.T. Usha Road in Ernakulam. It is a busy street and there is always something going on right outside our front door. We are an electrical agency, so our shop is usually full of all kinds of wires, switches, and parts for houses or bigger commercial buildings. It is not a very big space, and sometimes the cardboard boxes get stacked up pretty high near the back wall. We try to keep it organized, but when a big delivery comes in from the suppliers, things get a bit messy for a day or two. People come in looking for very specific parts for their home wiring or maybe just a new light fixture. We don't have a fancy showroom with bright lights and music; it is more of a place where you come to get what you need for a repair or a project. We have been in Ernakulam for a while now, so we know many of the local contractors who stop by every week. Sometimes we sit and have tea while talking about the latest building projects going up in the city. The rain in Kerala can be quite heavy and unpredictable, so we spend a lot of time making sure the electrical stock stays dry inside. It is just a regular local business. We open up in the morning, sell some cable and fuses, and close up when the day is done.
