Elba Traders

We’ve been based out of Erumbayil Buildings on Iyyattil Chittoor Road for a while now. Most people know the spot because of the traffic that piles up near the intersection. It’s a busy part of town, and we’re right in the middle of it. The office isn't anything fancy, just a couple of rooms where we handle the trading work. We get here early, usually before the heat really sets in, and start going through the orders. Some days are just filled with phone calls and checking stock levels in the back. The stairs in this building are a bit narrow, so moving stuff in and out can be a real pain if you aren't careful. We have a small crew here, just enough to keep things moving. Most of us have lived around here for years, so we know the shortcuts when the main road gets blocked. Lunch is usually something quick from one of the shops nearby. It gets pretty loud with all the horns outside, but you get used to it after a week or two. We don't spend much on decorating the walls or anything like that. It’s more about making sure the paperwork is filed and the shipments go where they are supposed to go. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and we just sit by the window for a bit until it comes back on. It’s just how things work here. There isn't much more to it than that.
