Dignity Surgical Clinic

Being on the 4th floor of the AC City Building puts Dignity Surgical Clinic up where it’s a bit quieter. We are right near the Radisson Blu Hotel, which is a good landmark for people trying to find us. The AC City Building is a bit of a hub, and being on the fourth floor means we have a bit of a view of the surrounding area. We focus on surgical stuff here. The clinic has a very specific smell, mostly antiseptic and clean laundry. It’s a professional space but we try to keep it from feeling too cold or scary for the patients. There are always instruments to be sterilized and rooms to be prepped. It’s a lot of physical work, standing on our feet and moving around. Sometimes the elevator in the building takes forever, so we have to plan ahead. We aren't a massive medical center, just a surgical clinic doing our daily tasks. The staff here has been together for a while, so we know how to stay out of each other's way in the narrow hallways. We don't spend money on big ads or glossy posters. Most people find us because their doctor told them to come to the AC City Building. It’s a straightforward way to run a clinic. We just focus on the surgeries and the recovery of the people who visit us. It’s a busy, meaningful way to spend the day.
