Covenant Books

We are over at 45D in the Kollamkudimugal area of Thrikkakara. If you are looking for Covenant Books, we are right near Megha Granites, which is usually the easiest way for people to find us. Ernakulam is a big place and things can get confusing with all the small roads. Our shop is simple and we try to keep it filled with things that people actually want to read. The rain here can be a real problem for paper, so we spend a lot of our time making sure the roof is holding up and the books stay dry. It is not a corporate setup at all. Usually, you will find one of us sitting there sorting through a new box of stock or talking to someone who wandered in. We don't have those big bright signs that the malls have. It is just a regular shop where we do our work. Some days are very slow and we just sit and watch the traffic go by towards the granite shop. Other days we are busy trying to find a specific title for someone who called earlier. It is a quiet kind of business for the most part. We like being in this neighborhood because it feels more like a community than a commercial zone. People know our names and we know theirs. That is just how we like to run things here.
