Cochin Canine Pet Clinic

Our pet clinic is located at 49/1136 Thiyyadil Road, just off Changampuzha Road. It’s a place where there is almost always a dog barking or a cat making some kind of noise. We deal with all kinds of canines, from tiny ones that fit in a bag to big ones that are hard to hold still. The floor is concrete because it’s much easier to clean up after the animals. Most of the time is spent doing checkups, giving shots, or looking at ears and paws. It can get a bit smelly sometimes, but that is just how it goes when you work with animals all day. The street outside is usually busy with people heading toward Changampuzha Road. We have a small desk where we keep the records and a scale for weighing the dogs, which most of them don't seem to like very much. The staff wears plain scrubs and we don't worry too much about looking fancy since we usually end up with dog hair on us anyway. It is a simple operation with just the basic tools needed to help pets. We have a few water bowls out for the visitors and a heavy door to make sure nobody escapes. It’s a loud, busy, and honest kind of place for people who live around here and have dogs that need care. We just focus on the animals and making sure they are okay before they head back home.
