Chandy F. Thimothy Harware

Chandy F. Thimothy Hardware is sitting right at Plot No. 26/777. We are on the High Road in Thrissur, very close to the District Hospital. Being near the hospital means there are always people around, day and night. The shop itself is full of everything you’d expect from a hardware store. We have rows of hammers, buckets of nails, and tins of paint stacked up. It smells like oil and sawdust inside, which I’ve grown to like over the years. We don't have a fancy layout. If you need something, you usually have to ask because it’s tucked away behind something else. The High Road is always noisy with buses and autos honking. We spend a lot of time helping people find the right size bolt or a specific tool they saw once. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and climbing ladders to reach the top shelves. We have a small desk where we keep the bills, but it’s usually covered in catalogs and samples. Sometimes the rain comes down so hard we have to pull the shutters halfway just to stay dry. We’ve been a part of this street for years. People know us as the place near the hospital where you can get your repairs sorted. We don't do big advertisements. We just open the doors and help whoever walks in with a broken faucet or a home project.
