Bhats Clinic

We have been running Bhats Clinic in the Mattancherry Town area of Ernakulam for quite a while now. If you know this part of town, you know it stays pretty busy with all the tourists and the local trade going on near the water. Our place is right there in the middle of it at the 682002 zip code. Most mornings start with us unlocking the front door and getting the chairs straightened out in the waiting area. It is not a fancy setup by any means. The walls are just plain, and we have the usual fans humming overhead to keep the humidity from getting too bad during the summer months. People from around the neighborhood just walk in when they are not feeling right. We see a lot of familiar faces because Mattancherry is the kind of place where everyone eventually knows where everything is located. The clinic stays open through the day, and sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but we just go about our work. We do not have a big corporate team or anything like that. It is just us here trying to handle the daily flow of patients who come in with various aches or fevers. We try to keep things organized, though sometimes paperwork piles up on the desk when it gets crowded. It is a simple life here in Ernakulam, just keeping the lights on and making sure the door is open for whoever needs to stop by.
