Vyttila is a crowded area, but we are tucked away a bit in the Oval Building on Riverbank Avenue. Having the river nearby is nice, though you can't always see it clearly from the windows. We call ourselves a hospital and research centre, but don't let the "research" part make you think of people in white lab coats with test tubes. It’s more about us looking closely at how the different herbs work together and keeping track of what we find in our daily work. The building is decent-sized, with several floors for different things. We have a lift, but it’s a bit slow, so most of us just take the stairs. The rooms for the patients are standard, nothing too special. We spend a lot of time in the pharmacy area mixing things up. It’s a busy place with people coming and going all day long. Thykoodam is a good location because it’s easy for people to get to from the main parts of the city. We don't bother with polished brochures or big marketing campaigns. We just focus on the work at hand. The atmosphere is generally quiet, though you can hear the traffic from the main road in the distance. We have a small team, and we all pitch in with everything, from cleaning the floors to talking to the visitors. It’s just how we run things here. There isn't much more to it than that.
