Indra Bhawani Infratech LLP is situated in Ward No. 07 of Dinhata, which is in the Coochbehar district. It’s a long way from the big city bustle of Kolkata, and we like the slower pace here. Our office is a small room with a couple of chairs and a wooden table. We focus on local infrastructure projects, which means we spend a lot of time talking to local people and workers from the area. Dinhata is a place where everyone knows everyone, so we don't really need big advertisements. People just walk in when they have a question or a project to discuss. The office is often quiet, except for the sound of birds outside or a tractor passing by. We keep our records in handwritten ledgers mostly, though we do have a computer for the official stuff. There’s a calendar with pictures of local temples on the wall. We don’t have any fancy titles or formal meetings. We just sit together, have some tea, and decide what needs to be done for the day. Sometimes the power goes out for a few hours and we just sit outside on the porch and talk. It’s a very honest, grounded way of doing business. We aren't trying to be the biggest company; we just want to do our work in Ward 07 and stay part of the community here.
