Subhaney Trading Company

Our shop, Subhaney Trading Company, is right by Madarsa Chowk in Thakurganj. It’s a very busy part of the district, especially being so close to the Jama Masjid and the post office. You can hear the calls from the Masjid throughout the day while we’re working. We’ve been here in Kishanganj for a long time now. The streets around Madarsa Chowk are always full of people, rickshaws, and carts. It can get pretty loud, but that’s just the atmosphere of the market. We mostly handle trading, so there’s always something coming in or going out. Our space is tucked in there with the other businesses. We aren't trying to be anything fancy. Just a local trading company that people in Thakurganj know they can stop by. The post office is just a short walk away, which is handy for us. We see a lot of different people every day coming through the chowk. It’s a lively place to have a business. We try to keep things simple and honest. If a customer asks for something we don't have, we tell them straight. There’s no point in making things complicated. The shop is a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. We open up early and stay until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. It’s a good spot to be, right in the heart of everything happening in this part of Kishanganj district. We have seen many local shops come and go.
