Shivganjhaat Tea Factory Private Limited

We run the Shivganjhaat Tea Factory Private Limited. Our factory is located in Tola-Kalakachu, which is part of the Udgara panchayat. We are in the Pothia block of Kishanganj. Bimal Yadav is the person whose place we use in the village of Kalakachu. The pincode here is 855117. We deal with tea leaves every day. Kishanganj is a good place for this because of the weather and the land around us. We have a few machines for drying and sorting the leaves. It gets very loud when they are running and we are working. We have a small group of workers from the village who come in every morning. Most of them have been with us since we started this factory. We don't have any big corporate goals or anything. We just want to process the tea and get it out to the local markets. It’s hard work, especially during the picking season when there is a lot of tea. The smell of fresh tea is everywhere in the building. Sometimes the rain makes it hard to get the trucks in and out of Kalakachu. The roads aren't the best in the monsoon. But we make it work somehow. Bimal Yadav keeps an eye on the property for us. We aren't some massive tea estate. Just a local factory trying to do things the right way. We spend most of our time on the floor checking the quality. That's our life.
