Fashion Stop

If you’re ever walking down Neemchand Road in Kishanganj, you’ll find us at Mantri Katra. We call the place Fashion Stop. It’s been here for quite a while now, sitting right in the middle of the local bustle. The building is an older one, so it has its quirks, like a floor that creaks a bit in the corner. We don’t mind it much. It gives the place some character. We aren’t trying to be a high-end boutique or anything like that. We just want to have stuff that people in Kishanganj actually want to wear. Most of our morning is spent getting things ready for the day. We don't have a huge staff, just a few of us who know where everything is. We handle everything from the cleaning to the sales ourselves. It’s a lot of time on our feet, but that’s just how the job is. Some days the market is really crowded and it’s hard to move around, and other days it’s quiet enough to hear the birds outside. We take it as it comes. We like being on Neemchand Road because we get to see the same faces every day. It feels like we’re actually part of something here. There’s no big mystery to how we run things. We just show up, open the doors, and do our best to keep things moving along. It’s a simple routine and it keeps us busy.
