Our shop is out in Jegor Basi, right near the petrol pump. It’s an easy landmark to find. We specialize in aluminum and PVC doors, mostly for houses and small offices nearby. The workshop is usually a bit noisy with the sound of saws cutting metal and plastic. There’s white dust from the PVC everywhere, no matter how much we sweep. It’s just part of the job. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of guys who know how to handle the tools. We’ve been here for several years now, and most of our work comes from people in the surrounding villages. We don't do much in the way of marketing or big signs. People just know where the door shop is. We keep a few finished doors on display so you can see the frames and how the hinges work. Sometimes we’re out installing things at a customer’s place, so the shop might be locked for an hour or two. We try to get back as quick as we can. The weather gets really hot in the summer, making the metal hard to touch, but we just wear gloves and keep at it. It’s basic work, but it’s what we know. We just focus on putting things together so they stay together.
