Vinod Farm

If you travel down BM Road in Kushalanagar, you will find Vinod Farm at number 582. It is a working farm, so don't expect a fancy visitor center or anything like that. I spend most of my time out in the fields or in the shed fixing the tractor. Farming is a tough way to make a living, but it is what my family has done for generations. We grow a variety of crops depending on what the soil and the weather allow each year. Kushalanagar has been a good home for us, even if the seasons can be a bit unpredictable sometimes. The house at 582 is where we live and where we handle all the business side of things. It’s usually just me and my sons working the land. We don't have a marketing team or a sales department. We just grow what we can and sell it to the local markets. It’s honest work that leaves you tired at the end of every day. The machinery is old and sometimes it breaks down when we need it most, but we manage to get by. We don’t have any big goals of becoming a huge company. We just want to take care of the land and make sure it stays productive for the next generation. It is a simple life out here on BM Road, away from the noise of the bigger cities. We just take things one day at a time and hope for good rain.
