Kila Mewai is where you’ll find us, and if you’ve ever been out this way, you know it’s a place where people actually work with their hands. Suresh Industries started small, and to be honest, it still feels that way some mornings when the dust is thick and the machines are just warming up. We don’t spend time on fancy speeches or big meetings. Usually, it’s just a quick talk over a cup of tea before we get to the production line. The building has seen better days, and the paint is peeling a bit near the back entrance, but the equipment inside works just fine. We make sure of that. People around here know us as the place that just keeps going, regardless of the weather or the time of year. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait it out, chatting about the local news or what’s happening in the village. It’s a simple life. We don’t use big words to describe what we do. We just make things. The noise of the workshop is the background music to our lives. By the time the evening rolls around, our hands are usually dirty, and we’re tired, but there’s a good feeling in seeing the crates stacked up and ready to move out. It’s what we do. No more, no less. We’re just glad to be part of the community here in Kila Mewai, doing our part without needing a lot of attention or praise for it.
