Sista Export Corporation

Our place, Sista Export Corporation, is at 582 New Shivpuri Kila Road in Khurja, specifically on Street No. 2. Since we are in Khurja, a lot of what we do involves the local pottery and ceramics that the town is famous for. It is not a store where you can come and buy one or two pieces. We mostly deal with getting things ready to be sent far away. My days are usually filled with the sound of packing tape and the smell of cardboard boxes. We use a lot of straw and bubble wrap to make sure nothing gets broken while it is on the road or in a container. It is a small setup and the street outside is quite narrow. When the big delivery trucks come to collect our crates, it always causes a bit of a traffic jam on Street No. 2. We have a small crew of people from the neighborhood who help with the packing and loading. Sometimes we stay late into the evening if there is a big order that needs to go out the next morning. It is not a fancy job and we do not have a decorated office. It is just a workspace with a lot of shelves and boxes. We try to stay organized so we do not mix up the different orders. We have been doing this for a while and we just focus on doing the work properly every single day.
