Rama Pottery Works

We are Rama Pottery Works and you can find us at D 4 over on Industrial Area Junctionn Road. Working with clay and making pottery is what we do every single day here. It’s a messy business, with mud and water everywhere, but that’s just how it goes. The kilns are usually running and it stays pretty warm inside the building even in the winter. We’ve been at this location for a long time. The address at Junctionn Road is easy for the delivery drivers to find, which helps a lot. We make all sorts of items, mostly stuff people need for their homes or for other businesses. It’s not like those art galleries you see in the city. Our stuff is made for actual use. There are a few of us here who have been working the wheels and the molds since we were young. Sometimes the clay doesn't dry right or a batch gets ruined in the heat, but we just start over. That’s the nature of the job. We don’t have a fancy website or a secretary to answer the phones. Usually, one of us just wipes our hands on a rag and picks up when it rings. The shop is full of finished pieces and half-made ones sitting on the shelves. It’s a quiet life mostly, just focused on the work at D 4.
