Tayal Potteries

We are located right on G.T. Road in the Bagh Risaldar area. If you know this road, you know how busy it stays with all the trucks and cars zooming past at all hours. Our workshop is right there in the middle of it. The dust from the road is something we just have to live with, honestly. We work with clay and heat mostly. It is messy work, and your hands are never really clean by the end of the shift. We have been doing this for a long time in this same spot. The building is old and has some cracks, but it holds up well enough for the kilns and the wheels. We don't have a big showroom with lights. It is more of a yard where things are stacked up. People driving by sometimes stop when they see the piles of pots outside. The noise of the traffic is constant, but you get used to it after a week or two. We drink a lot of tea to keep going. It is a simple life of making things from the earth. We don't have any fancy marketing people. It is just us and the mud and the fire. The sun sets behind the buildings across the road and that is usually when we start packing up for the day. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know.
