Ajay Ash Brick

Our setup at Ajay Ash Brick is located in Village Korakel. It is near the Post Office and falls under the Murhu Tehsil. It is a bit of a trek to get out here, as it is deep in the district. We focus on making ash bricks, which is a bit different from the traditional red bricks you see everywhere. The process involves a lot of mixing and pressing. It is quiet out here in Korakel, mostly just open land and a few other small operations. We don't get a lot of random foot traffic. Usually, it is just the scheduled trucks coming to pick up an order. The workplace is pretty basic, just the machines for the bricks and some space to store the finished ones while they set. We have a small crew of workers who know the rhythm of the machines. Sometimes the power goes out, which is common in these parts, and we just have to wait it out. It is not a fast-paced environment, but we keep the production going as much as we can. The air is a bit cleaner here than in the city, but the ash can get everywhere if you aren't careful. We just do our work, stack the bricks, and wait for the next transport to arrive. It is a simple life and a simple business out here in Murhu, and we are fine with that.
