Sima Fertilizer

Sima Fertilizer is based right here in Kalyanpur. It’s a quiet place mostly, focused on the farms nearby. We deal with all sorts of fertilizers that the local growers need for their crops throughout the year. The seasons really dictate how busy we are. When it is time to plant, we are working from early morning until it gets dark outside. The shop is filled with heavy bags and the smell of the earth. We don't do any big advertising or posters. Word of mouth is how most people find us. It is a family thing, really. We grew up around here and know the soil in this area well. Sometimes the supply chains get messy and we have to tell people to wait a few days for their order. That is just how it goes in this business. We have a small truck for moving things around when someone can't pick it up themselves. It is hard work, lifting heavy bags and keeping track of the books by hand. We don't use fancy software or computers, just a pen and some paper mostly. Kalyanpur is a good place to be. We see the same faces every year and catch up on the news. We just try to keep enough stock so nobody goes home empty-handed when the rain starts. It is a basic operation but it keeps us busy and we are happy with that.
