Vivekanand Hospital

We have been running this hospital at Fire Station Square in Baramunda for quite some time now. It’s a busy spot because of the location, so there is always someone coming in or out. The building isn't fancy, but it does what it needs to do for the people around here. Most of our staff have been with us for years and they know the regulars by name. We get a lot of walk-ins since we are right by the square. Sometimes the waiting area gets a bit cramped when it's flu season, but we manage. You’ll find the doctors usually have their hands full, though they try to talk to everyone properly. It’s just a normal place where we help folks who aren't feeling well. We don't have those big shiny lobbies like the new private places in the city, but the beds are clean and the medicines are stocked. If you are looking for us, just tell the rickshaw driver the fire station square and they’ll know where to drop you. It’s easy to find. We deal with all sorts of things, from basic fever to bigger stuff that needs a few days of staying over. It’s hard work, but the neighborhood relies on us, so we keep the doors open and the lights on every day to make sure anyone who comes through the door gets seen.
