Vedanta Resources Plc

We are located in Lenkudipada, which is in the Nayagarh district of Orissa. This is one of the more rural spots for Vedanta Resources Plc. It's a bit quieter here than in the big cities like Mumbai or Bangalore. The office is situated in a way that feels very connected to the village area. It’s a simple building, nothing tall or glass-fronted. We have a small group of people working here, mostly locals who have lived in Nayagarh their whole lives. The pace is a bit slower, which is nice. We spend our time managing the local affairs and making sure things are running correctly in this district. There isn't any fancy tech or modern art here. It’s mostly wooden desks and old-fashioned filing cabinets. We deal with a lot of manual paperwork. Sometimes the power cuts out and we have to wait it out, but nobody gets too stressed. We know everyone around here, so work feels a bit like being with family. We don’t put on any airs about being a big company. We’re just part of the local landscape in 752070. It’s honest work and a plain setting. We like the quiet of the area and the fact that we can see some greenery from the windows. Sometimes a cow or two wanders past the front gate, which wouldn't happen in a city. It's a peaceful corner of Orissa to be based in.
