Unchin Foundation

We are based in the Galaxia Garden area at Plot No. 3, Khata No. 493. It’s right near Infosys Square in Patia, which is a part of town that’s changed a lot recently. With all the big tech buildings around, our little foundation feels a bit old-fashioned, but we like it that way. We don't have a big corporate structure or a bunch of managers in suits. It’s mostly just a few of us who wanted to do something meaningful for the people who actually live here in Patia. The office has some old furniture we’ve collected over the years and a very slow printer that drives us crazy most days. We spend our time dealing with various community issues, trying to be a bridge for people who need help but don't know where to go. It’s a mix of things, really. One day it’s about local education, and the next it might be about helping a family through a tough spot. We don't have a polished way of talking about our work; we just do it because we live here too. The neighborhood is growing fast, and there are always new challenges popping up that we have to deal with. We just try to keep our feet on the ground and stay useful to the people around us. It’s not always easy, and the work never really seems to be finished, but we keep showing up.
