The Sartaaj

We’ve been running things here at Plot No 8 on Lewis Road for a while now. It’s a pretty straightforward spot in Bhubaneshwar, right near the Rabi Talkies Square. Most days it’s just us doing the usual work, making sure everything is ready for whoever walks through the door. The traffic around the square can get a bit loud, but inside we just focus on the tasks at hand. It isn't a fancy place, just a regular building where we spend our time. We see a lot of local people passing by every day. Sometimes they stop in, sometimes they don't. That’s just how it goes on Lewis Road. We try to keep the place tidy and functional. There’s always something to fix or a floor to sweep. It keeps us busy from morning until we close up at night. The weather here is often quite hot, so we deal with that like everyone else in the neighborhood. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that. It’s just a handful of us working here. We know the neighbors and the guys at the shops nearby. We’ve been at this address for a bit, so we’ve seen the area change a little, but we stay mostly the same. If you’re looking for us, we are right by the square. It’s easy to find if you know where the theater is. We just keep our heads down and do what needs doing every single day.
