Swayam Prabha Foundation

We are based out of the Shree Residency over in Dumduma, specifically at Plot-1091, S.P-D/4. It’s a residential area, so it’s pretty quiet most of the time. Swayam Prabha Foundation isn't some big, loud operation. It’s just us working out of a small space near the Khandagiri police station. We started this because we wanted to have a dedicated spot to handle our community work. The office is a bit cramped because we have a lot of files and equipment tucked away in the corners. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or meeting with people who live nearby. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find people in suits. We’re usually just in our everyday clothes, trying to get through the day’s tasks. Living and working in Dumduma means we see our neighbors every day, which is nice. It keeps us grounded. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just take a break and sit outside for a bit. We don’t have a fancy website or a lot of promotional materials. We just rely on people knowing who we are and what we’re about. It’s a simple way to run things, and it works for us. We’re just regular people trying to do something decent from our little corner of the city. It takes a lot of effort, but we don't mind the hard work. We just do what we can.
