Sjd Buildcon Private Limited is based out of Flat No-401, which is up on the 4th floor of Block-4 in the Ganga Jamuna Enclave. Being in Botanda gives us a decent view of the area, though we spend more time looking at computer screens and site maps than out the window. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, but we’re used to it by now. Bhubaneswar is growing fast, and we are right in the middle of it here in Khordha. We do a lot of buildcon work, which basically means we’re always looking at how to get things built from the ground up. It’s a lot of back and forth with suppliers and making sure the crews at the sites know what the plan is for the day. Our office at Ganga Jamuna Enclave is usually filled with rolls of paper and half-finished cups of coffee. We aren't a massive corporation with hundreds of staff. It’s a smaller group of us who actually know each other's names and families. We try to keep things simple. When a project comes up, we look at the numbers and the land and see if it makes sense. There are plenty of challenges in this business, from weather delays to missing permits, but we’ve learned to take them as they come. We've been at this for a while and don't plan on moving from the 4th floor anytime soon. It's a good spot to keep track of the work going on around the enclave.
