We’re over at Plot No-1466/2596 in the Sampurdurga Madhab Nagar area. Our spot is Sub Plot No-32, and if you’re trying to find us, we’re pretty close to Girish Vihar. Sivium Industries is a relatively straightforward operation. We handle various industrial tasks and small-scale manufacturing. It’s not a huge, gleaming factory like you see in the movies. It’s just a practical workspace where we can fit our machines and have enough room to move things around. The roads around this part of Bhubaneswar can be a bit tricky, especially after a heavy rain when the mud gets everywhere. We have a handful of workers who have been with us for a long time. We aren't really into the whole corporate culture thing. We just show up, do the work, and go home to our families. The office has a ceiling fan that makes a bit of a racket, but it keeps us cool enough during the summer months. We don't have a mission statement or any of those fancy slogans. We just want to make sure the orders are right and they get delivered on time. Sometimes things go wrong, like a machine breaking down, and we just have to fix it and move on. It’s a bit of a scramble some days, but that’s just how it is running a small business in Orissa. We appreciate the people who come to us by word of mouth. It feels more honest that way.
