Our place is in Puri, Orissa, specifically at Dolamandap Sahi. We are located at Khatua Lane, care of the late Biswanath Giri’s property. It’s an older part of town with a lot of history. Being in Puri means we are close to the sea and the temple, which influences the pace of life here. Siddhartha Engg. Pvt. Ltd has been using this space for our engineering-related work for some time. It’s not a high-tech lab or anything like that. It’s more of a practical office where we plan things and handle the administration side of our engineering projects. The lanes around here are narrow and can be quite busy with people and rickshaws. We are used to the noise and the local activity. Most of our work involves a lot of technical drawings and looking at site plans. We don't really bother with big signs or marketing. People in the industry know where we are. It’s a simple setup with just enough room for the staff to work comfortably. We try to be helpful when people come by with questions. It’s a very grounded way of working. We take our tasks seriously but we don't make a big show of it. Just a local engineering firm doing its thing in Puri-1. We have our tea in the morning, look at the files, and start the day’s work without much fuss. It is just how we do things here. We just want to get the engineering side of things right.
