Sasmita Ricemills Private Limited

So we are based in Tower-7 of the Z-1 Estate, right on Nandan Kanan Road in Bhubaneswar. It’s a busy spot near Kalarahanga, and if you know the area, you know how the traffic gets. Sasmita Ricemills is basically where the heavy lifting happens with the grain. We don’t have fancy rugs or a big front desk because most of the time we are just looking at bags of rice and making sure the machines are running like they should. It gets a bit loud when everything is going at once, but that is just how it is in this line of work. We’ve been at this for a while now, sitting here in office 1001. Some days are slow and we just sit around checking the paperwork, but mostly it is about moving product out the door. People think rice milling is simple, but there is a lot of dust and sweat involved that nobody sees from the outside. The guys here have been working together for a long time, so we just get on with it. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to keep the business going and pay the bills. The office in the tower is a bit different from the actual mill floor, but we spend time in both. Sometimes the elevator in the estate is slow, so we just take the stairs if we are in a hurry. It’s just a regular job for us.
