Our foundation is located at House Number 24 in Ward Number 15. It’s right on Maharaja Gali in the Kedarpur area. The lane is one of those narrow ones where everyone knows their neighbor's business. We’ve been here for a while, working out of this house. It’s got a small front area where we sometimes keep our bicycles or a motorbike. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and bookshelves. We don’t have a receptionist or a waiting room with magazines. If someone comes by, they usually just find one of us in the middle of a task. We work on various local projects, which means we have a lot of maps and papers spread out most of the time. The street outside can get a bit congested during the morning hours when people are heading out. We’re used to the sounds of the neighborhood by now. It’s a practical workspace. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big office setups. We just need a place to sit and plan out what needs doing for the development work. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait it out, but that’s just part of living in Jodapilal. We keep going regardless. It’s just a regular group of people doing their bit from a small office in Kedarpur. Life isn't always fast-paced, but we keep our heads down and get the paperwork finished before the day ends.
