Sarekha Association

Sarekha Association is located in Joranda Patna, right in the Joranda area of Dhenkanal. We operate from the place of Sarat Ku Rout. It’s a quiet spot, and we like it that way because it lets us focus on our work. The office is really just a part of the house where we’ve set up some tables and chairs. We don't have a big corporate setup or anything like that. Most of us who work here are from around Dhenkanal, so we know the area pretty well. Our days are mostly spent talking to people from the nearby villages and trying to coordinate different activities. It’s a lot of back-and-forth, and sometimes things move slower than we’d like. We don't have a lot of high-tech equipment, just the basics to get the job done. Often, you’ll find us sitting on the porch discussing the day’s tasks over a cup of tea. It’s a very informal environment. We don't have strict office hours; we’re usually around when people need us. If you come by Joranda Patna, just ask for Sarat’s place and someone will point you in the right direction. We aren't trying to change the world overnight. We’re just trying to do our part for the community here. It’s steady work, and we’re happy to be doing it. We keep our paperwork in order as best we can and just take things as they come. It’s just a normal, local association.
