We do a lot of construction work around this side of Bhubaneswar. It’s a part of the city that is really expanding lately. At PULP CONSTRUCTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED, we spend a lot of our time checking on the site progress and making sure the trucks can get through the narrow parts of the road. Dealing with labor and materials is the main part of our day. It’s not always glamorous work, often we are covered in dust by noon. We decided to set up here because we saw how much development was happening near the college. We help people who want to build houses or commercial spaces. We aren't flashy. Our office is just a place where we keep our files and meet with contractors. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit outside for a bit. We’ve seen the price of steel and cement go up and down quite a bit over the last couple of years. It makes the planning part a bit of a headache. Still, we like what we do.
