Our office is over at Plot 425 in Ekamakana. It's specifically in the Parida Sahi area, which is near Olikana in Nimapara. It’s a bit of a trek if you’re coming from the main parts of Puri, but we like it here. It’s a local spot where everyone knows everyone. We do consultancy work, which means a lot of reading and writing. We have a modest setup. It’s just a regular room with some tables and a couple of old cupboards for files. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a lobby or anything like that. We just focus on the work that needs doing. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out or talk about the weather. It’s a very relaxed environment, but we still make sure things get finished on time. We’ve got some good people working here who understand how things work in this district. We don’t use a lot of jargon or try to sound smarter than we are. We just tell it like it is. If someone comes by with a question, we sit them down and have a chat over some water or tea. That’s how we like to operate. It’s honest work in a quiet part of the world. We’re just happy to be here doing our thing day by day. The road to Ekamakana can be a bit bumpy after the monsoon, but we don't mind it much. It's part of living out here. We just want to keep doing our work without any big drama.
