Pakodas Foods Private Limited

Our little setup for Pakodas Foods Private Limited is located at Plot No 1298/2198 in the Kapil Prasad area of Sundarpada. We share the space with Nandini Panda’s place, and it works out for us. It’s a busy neighborhood and there’s always something going on outside our door. We mostly focus on getting the food right without adding too much junk to it. It started as a small idea among friends and now we are here, trying to make it work every day. The kitchen gets really hot, especially in the afternoons, but that’s just part of the job. We don’t have any fancy machines to do the work for us, so there is a lot of chopping and mixing by hand. It feels more real that way, I think. Sometimes we run out of ingredients and have to rush to the local market to restock everything. We aren't some big factory. It’s just a few of us working together to make sure the food tastes like it should. We spend a lot of time cleaning up after a shift because food work is messy and the floors get greasy. People in Sundarpada know us as the folks who are always busy with the stove. We don’t spend money on big ads because we’d rather put that into the ingredients we use. It’s a simple life but we like being here.
