Orangecross Foundation

Our foundation is located at Duplex No. 27-28 in Palm Residency. This is in Samapur, near Sum Hospital in Bhubaneswar. It’s a nice enough area and having the hospital nearby makes it very easy to explain our location to anyone who is visiting for the first time. Since it is a duplex, we have a bit more room than we would in a standard office. We use the ground floor for receiving visitors and the upper floor is where we do most of our administrative work. It’s a residential complex, so it stays relatively quiet compared to the main roads. We have a small garden area in the front where we sometimes sit during our breaks. The office furniture is a mix of things we’ve gathered over time, so nothing really matches, but it’s all functional. We have a few computers and a lot of filing cabinets for our paperwork. Most of our day is spent organizing events or managing the different programs we run. We don't have a formal dress code or anything like that. It’s just us doing the work in a way that makes sense. Sometimes the internet goes slow, which can be frustrating, but we manage. We often have volunteers coming by to help out, so the space can feel a bit full on those days. It’s a good atmosphere and we all get along well. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to stay organized in our little corner of Samapur. It works for us.
