You can find us in the Forum Mart Building, which is a pretty well-known spot in Kharavela Nagar, Unit III. We are way up on the 6th floor, in Rooms 603 and 604. It’s a bit of a climb if the elevators are being slow, but it’s where we do our work. Being in the middle of Bhubaneswar means it’s always loud outside, but inside the office, we try to keep things a bit more calm. Cancer is a tough thing for anyone to deal with, and we see a lot of families coming through here who are just trying to figure out what to do next. We aren't some big, cold institution. We’re just a small group of people who wanted to provide a bit of support and help navigate the healthcare system here in Odisha. Most of our day is spent on the phone or talking to people across the desk who are going through a really hard time. It’s heavy work, and it stays with you when you go home at night. We don’t have all the fancy equipment or a huge hospital wing, just these couple of rooms where we try to make things a little easier for the patients and their relatives. Sometimes we just sit and listen because that’s what’s needed. It’s not always easy, but it feels right to be here in Kharavela Nagar doing this. We’re just folks trying to help other folks get through a bad situation.
