You’ll find us on the fifth floor, room 503, in the T-3 building of V. Garden over in Sankarpur. It’s near the Tamando police station, which makes it pretty easy to explain the directions to people. Being up on the fifth floor gives us a bit of a view, though mostly we are just looking at the tops of other buildings. This foundation was set up to handle social welfare, and we’ve been at it for a while now. The office is small and usually filled with the sound of the fan humming and people talking on the phone. We don't have a big marketing budget or a team of people to write fancy speeches for us. It’s just us, sitting at our desks, trying to figure out how to help the families in this part of town. Sometimes it’s about providing food, other times it’s about helping someone find a job or get some basic education. It’s a lot of coordination and calling people up to see who can provide what. We don't always have all the answers, but we try to find them by asking around. The work can be frustrating when the red tape gets in the way, but we just keep pushing through it anyway. We aren't doing this for the praise; we’re doing it because it needs to be done and we’re the ones here to do it right now.
