Mitti Agrotech Organics Private Limited

Our office is located on the first floor at Plot No. N4/2 in the Civil Township area of Rourkela. Mitti Agrotech Organics is a small business where we focus mostly on organic farming supplies and the products that come from them. We are not located out in the middle of the fields ourselves, but we spend a good portion of our time traveling out to them to see how the crops are growing. Rourkela is a busy and noisy city, but our heart is really in the dirt and the plants. We wanted to start something that looked at farming a little bit differently than the usual way, focusing more on the organic side because we think it makes more sense for the long term. We do not have a fancy showroom or a big team of professional salespeople. It is just a few of us working in a regular office space that we rented. The main desk is usually piled high with various soil test results and papers related to organic certifications. It is a lot of learning as we go along because things are always changing. We talk to local farmers who are interested in switching away from using so many chemicals and we try to help them find a practical way to do it. It isn’t always a smooth process and there are definitely plenty of setbacks to deal with. We just keep showing up every day and trying.
