Maa Sarala Variety Store

Maa Sarala Variety Store is right in Ramchandrapura, located very close to the Government Community Health Centre. Because we are near the health center, we get all kinds of people stopping in. Some are there to visit patients and need a few snacks or some juice, while others are just locals from the village getting their daily supplies. We call it a variety store because we try to keep a little bit of everything on the shelves. You might find soap, biscuits, notebooks, or small household items all in the same aisle. The shop is small and can feel a bit crowded when the delivery guys are dropping off new crates of soda or bags of flour. We have a small counter where we spend most of our day, ringing up sales and chatting with the neighbors. It is a friendly place, and we often hear all the local news before anyone else does. The health center brings a lot of foot traffic past our door, which keeps us pretty busy from morning until we close up at night. We don't have a website or any big marketing plans. We just focus on keeping the shop open and making sure we have the things people need when they are in a hurry. It is just a simple, local store run by local people.
