Our place is located in Bhimatangi, specifically at Plot No.- M-55 in Kapila Prasad, Phase-2. It is a part of Bhubaneswar that stays pretty busy most of the time. We handle a lot of tubes and pipes here. The yard is usually full of metal pieces and sometimes it looks a bit messy, but we know where everything is kept. Usually, the day starts early when the first truck shows up. There is a lot of noise from the metal clanking together during the loading process. We do not have any big fancy signs, just the office at the plot. It gets quite hot in Khordha during the summer months so we try to do the heavy work before noon. Most of our guys have been here for a long time and they know the stock inside and out. If you walk into the yard, you will see different sizes of pipes stacked up according to their type. We have had to move things around a few times to make more room as we grew. The road near Phase-2 can be tricky with traffic, so we tell drivers to come in early. It is a straightforward operation without any big corporate layers. We just deal with the orders as they come in and try to keep the inventory straight. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desk but we get through it. It is just a local business doing its thing in the neighborhood and we just keep at it.
