Kb Utkal Creative Private Limited has its home at Plot No. 1436/C4 in the Jharaana part of the Aerodrome Area in Bhubaneshwar. Being near the airfield means we hear the planes taking off and landing pretty often. It becomes a bit of a background noise after you have been here for a few weeks. The office is in the Ps. Airfield jurisdiction. It is a decent-sized plot and we have enough room for our creative work. The building is a bit older, with those heavy wooden doors and windows that sometimes stick when you try to open them. We have a lot of stuff scattered around because that is just how we work. It is not the kind of place where everything is hidden away in cupboards. You can see the work happening right there on the tables. The Jharaana area is a nice little pocket of the city. It feels like a mix of houses and small businesses. We have a small corner where we keep the kettle and some biscuits for the afternoon break. The walls have some marks on them where we moved furniture around, and we never got around to repainting. It does not matter much to us. We are more focused on what we are making than how the walls look. It is a comfortable place to spend the day and the people nearby are friendly enough.
