Kanhu Grocery Store

Kanhu Grocery Store is located right on the Main Road in Khamarsahi village, within the Dasapalla Tehsil. We are easy to spot because we are right near the bus stand and the Ram Mandir. It’s a good spot to be in because there’s always someone around, whether they are catching a bus or coming back from the temple. The shop is small and packed tight with all sorts of things like grains, spices, soaps, and snacks. We try to use every inch of space, so you might see things hanging from the rafters or stacked high on the top shelves. It’s a family business, and we’ve been here for quite some time now. The sounds of the temple bells and the buses pulling in are just part of our daily life. We don't have a barcode scanner or any fancy checkout counter, just a simple scale and a book to write down the sales. Sometimes the cows wander close to the entrance and we have to shoo them away. We know almost everyone who walks through the door, and we usually have a bit of a chat while we weigh out their supplies. It’s a simple, busy life and we don’t need anything more than that. We just try to keep the essentials in stock so our neighbors don't have to travel far.
