Jangali Mahavir Jubasakti Association

You can find our association over at Plot No.-788/1350/1 in the Sampur area. It’s part of the Khandagiri side of Bhubaneswar. Jangali Mahavir Jubasakti Association is basically a group of local folks who decided to get together and do something productive. We aren’t a big company. It’s mostly just people from the neighborhood. Our space in Sampur isn’t anything special to look at, just a room where we meet and plan things out. We focus on getting people involved in what’s happening around here. Some days it’s just a few of us sitting around talking, and other days the place is packed. We’ve been here long enough that most people recognize the name. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but it’s a good spot for us. We handle a lot of local stuff, things that might seem small to outsiders but matter to the people living in Khordha. We don't have a polished way of doing things. We just figure it out as we go. Sometimes we disagree on how to handle a project, but we usually work it out over some coffee. It’s just about keeping the energy up and making sure the youth around here have something to focus on. We like being in Orissa and being part of the local scene. It’s home, and we’re just trying to make it work. Every day brings a new challenge but we just keep moving forward.
