If you’re looking for the Intrahealth India Foundation, you’ll find us in Flat No-J-112, inside Tower-J of the Cosmopolis complex. It’s right near Dumuduma and the Khandagiri Square area in Bhubaneswar. Being in one of these big apartment towers means we have to deal with the elevators and the security gate every morning, which can be a bit of a slow start to the day. The flat itself is where we’ve set up our workspace. It’s got a kitchen area where we make way too much coffee and a living room that’s basically full of desks and filing cabinets now. It’s a bit strange working out of a residential tower sometimes, but it’s actually quite convenient once you get used to the routine. The view from the window shows a bit of the city and the other towers in the complex. We get a lot of phone calls and emails, so the quiet of the high floor helps us stay focused on the tasks. Sometimes the delivery guys get lost trying to find Tower-J because the whole complex is so big, so we’ve gotten used to giving directions over the phone. It’s not a corporate office with a lobby or anything like that. Just a flat where a group of us tries to keep things moving for the foundation. It works for what we need right now, and the location is easy enough for most people to find.
