Our office is on the first floor over in Gautam Nagar. If you know where the Bhubaneswar Municipality Office is, we are right near there at Plot No-374. Heaven Fly Ash Bricks Private Limited is what we call ourselves. It’s a bit different being in the city area compared to having a yard out in the fields, but this is where we handle all the paperwork and coordination. Downstairs is usually busy with people coming and going because of the government offices nearby. Upstairs, it’s just us managing the orders for the bricks. We talk to contractors and builders all day. The actual brick making happens elsewhere, but this office is the heart of the operation for us in Khordha. It’s a standard office setup with a couple of desks and a lot of ledgers. We spend a lot of time on the phone or meeting people who drop in to discuss their construction plans. Orissa is growing fast, and there are new buildings going up everywhere you look in Bhubaneswar. Being near the municipality office makes it easy for people to find us when they are doing their own paperwork. We try to keep things simple and direct. There isn’t much flash here, just some chairs and the smell of tea in the afternoons. It’s a practical place for a practical business. We’ve been in this building for some time now and like the neighborhood.
