Handcrafted India Export Private Limited

We are Handcrafted India Export, and you can find us in Bhubaneswar. Our office is actually in a residential complex called Kendriya Vihar, Phase-II. We are up on the third floor of Block D-5, specifically Flat No-74. It’s a bit different running an export business from an apartment building, but it works for us. Begunia is the general area, and it’s a bit away from the main city rush, which is nice because it’s quieter for focusing on work. We deal with handcrafted items, so there’s often boxes and samples scattered around the living room area that we turned into a workspace. It’s a small team, mostly just family and a couple of helpers who come in to help with the packing. When the weather is nice in Khordha, we keep the balcony doors open to let the air in. Shipping things out means we spend a lot of time on the phone with couriers and checking schedules. We don’t have a big showroom or anything. Most of our work is done through emails and catalogs. It feels very personal because we are literally working from where we live. Sometimes the elevator in the block acts up, so we end up carrying stuff down the stairs, but that’s just part of the daily routine. We’re just trying to get these local crafts out to more people without making a big fuss about it.
